Sometimes it helps to have someone along the path with you. When you don't know where to start, and the opportunity seems overwhelming, a simple process that enables you to visualize a path to success is exactly what you need.

I have found over the years that having someone alongside when you're grappling with critical decisions, planning out a new strategic vision or solving a complex communications challenge can be vital to your success.

Busy people find it difficult to step away from the day-to-day tasks of the business to work on the business, not just in the business. I focus on your outcomes, your objectives, what are the ideals factors that define success. Together we understand the value that this success brings to the organization. I've found that being specific during this planning phase helps as we move along the path. Finally, we decide how we're going to measure our progress. What will we be able to point to and know that we're achieving the goals

Whether you are building out a new division, thinking about a content strategy, wanting to get better connected to your audiences, or want help in developing an AI that will empower your workforce, we can help.

Mark Sylvester is a systems thinker. I enjoy thinking through, processing, and implementing ideas with him. He is able to visually conceptualize an idea, the process for implementing the idea, and provides you with tools to facilitate its success. I am currently working with Mark on two initiatives: podcast conversations with urban health influencers and a member portal. It’s a productive and engaging collaboration.

Mark has been a trusted mentor, advisor and partner for many years. Recently, we decided to launch a podcast series, Mark was instrumental in architecting the design and execution of the entire production. Marc also created our podcast roadmap, which candidly was the hardest thing for us to do - knowing where to start.

See What You Think

Frequently you need someone along an unknown path to guide you. Think of me as your sherpa. Most likely I've been down the same path, whether it's how you better connect with your community and those around you,  tell your story so more people hear your message or figure which foot to put in front of the other as you embark on a new journey. As we say before we step onto the stage, "I got your back."

Begin with a breath

Neuroscience tells us that when you center yourself and take a breath, you create a space where your brain can make good, clean decisions.

Dive in and Discover

When faced with a challenge or opportunity, spending time capturing the simple, who - what - when - where - how of the situation is vital for success.

Cluster the Chaos

We'll collaboratively chunk the results of discovery into manageable groups. This step helps us find gaps and missing pieces at the same time.

MAKE A MAP

This step creates a path, a roadmap to the expected goal or outcome. Visually putting each item on the path and setting up milestones makes the journey real.

Get up and Go

To reach your goal, you need to commit to taking the first step and celebrating. Then commit to the next step and so on. Sounds easy, and maybe the most challenging of the steps.

"Once you have mastered a technique, you hardly need look at a recipe again and can take off on your own."
